The Upside

The story of the unlikely friendship between a wealthy quadriplegic man and the unemployed man with a criminal record who becomes his caretaker.

The film is a remake of the 2011 French film, The Intouchables which was inspired by the real life of Philippe Pozzo di Borgo, the owner of a historic Parisian hotel who became disabled after a paragliding accident in 1993. This is the third remake of this film (called Oopiri in India and Inseparables in Argentina). This new version stars Kevin Hart, Nicole Kidman, and Bryan Cranston and proves that this story of friendship is universal.
