Incredibles 2

Three months after the events of The Incredibles, city officials become concerned about the amount of destruction involved every time supers save the day. As a result, they are restricted once again to their secret identities. In an attempt to reinstate the supers, Elastigirl takes on the task of proving how useful they can be, while Mr. Incredible stays home with their three children, including the still power undecided baby, Jack-Jack.

Starring the voice talents of Holly Hunter, Craig T. Nelson, Sarah Vowell, Catherine Keener, and Samuel L. Jackson, the film continues with Brad Bird, the same writer/director as the original animated film. This is the fourth time that Disney/Pixar has featured a female protagonist, and the the fourth film in which the sidekick from the original becomes the protagonist in the sequel, after Cars 2 (2011), Monsters University (2013), and Finding Dory (2016). Fourteen years after the release of the first film, it is safe to say, “It’s been too long, dahlings!”
