Creed II

As Rocky Balboa continues to coach Adonis Creed, the fighter is challenged by Viktor Drago, the son of Ivan Drago, who famously killed the boxer’s father, Apollo Creed, in the ring. Fueled by his passion for the sport, but held back by his love of family, the young Creed is discouraged from taking this fight by nearly everyone around him, including his coach. Although Rocky famously beat Ivan Drago in 1958, he acknowledges the sacrifices that resulted from that fight. Still, the young fighter wants to avenge his father and defend his own pride.

A continuation of the Rocky series, now on its eighth film, Creed II is the second installment of the Creed storyline. The film stars Michael B. Jordan (Black Panther, Fruitvale Station), Tessa Thompason (Dear White People, Annihilation), Florian Munteanu (Bogat) with Sylvester Stallone reprising his role as Rocky Balboa, and Dolph Lundgren playing Ivan Drago again for the first time since Rocky IV.
