Where’d You Go, Bernadette

After years of sacrificing her own wants and needs for those of her family, Bernadette Fox is losing it. She has a loving family, but a need to reconnect with the creative person she was before all of that. Pushed to the point of breakdown, she decides to start an epic adventure to jump start her rediscovery. And then she disappears…

Starring Cate Blanchett as Bernadette, the story explores concepts of identity in middle age and the ways in which we can have it all, but still feel like something is missing. Director Richard Linklater (Boyhood) once again applies his lense to a specific time in the human experience. This film is based on the 2012 novel of the same name by Maria Semple.
