Agreement between user and www.themoviehouse.com
I acknowledge the contagious nature of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 and that the CDC and many other public health authorities still recommend practicing social distancing.
I further acknowledge that USA Cinema Investments Holding Inc. (“Cinepolis”) has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus/COVID-19.
I further acknowledge that Cinepolis cannot guarantee that I will not become infected with the Coronavirus/Covid-19. I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to and/or infected by the Coronavirus/COVID-19 may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, Cinepolis staff, and other Cinepolis clients and their families.
I voluntarily am visiting Cinepolis a theater and acknowledge that I am increasing my risk to exposure to the Coronavirus/COVID-19. I acknowledge that I must comply with all set procedures to reduce the spread while at Cinepolis.
I attest that:
• I have not traveled internationally within the last 14 days.
• I have not traveled to a highly impacted area within the United States of America in the last 14 days.
• I do not believe I have been exposed to someone with a suspected and/or confirmed case of the Coronavirus/COVID-19.
• I have not been diagnosed with Coronavirus/Covid-19 and not yet cleared as non-contagious by state or local public health authorities.
- I am following all CDC recommended guidelines as much as possible and limiting my exposure to the Coronavirus/COVID-19.
I hereby release and agree to hold Cinepolis harmless from, and waive on behalf of myself, my heirs, and any personal representatives any and all causes of action, claims, demands, damages, costs, expenses and compensation for damage or loss to myself and/or property that may be caused by any act, or failure to act of the cinema, or that may otherwise arise in any way in connection with my visit to Cinepolis. I understand that this release discharges Cinepolis from any liability or claim that I, my heirs, or any personal representatives may have against the cinema with respect to any bodily injury, illness, death, medical treatment, or property damage that may arise from, or in connection to, any visit to a Cinepolis theater. This liability waiver and release extends to the cinema together with all owners, partners, and employees.

Your gift card is good for the purchase of admission tickets, food, and beverage items and may only be used at participating Moviehouse & Eatery locations. Your gift card may not be redeemed for cash, and unused value remains on the card. Moviehouse & Eatery is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged cards or any unauthorized use. For card balance, please visit www.themoviehouse.com. Gift Cards cannot be used for gratuity. You can opt in to receive communications such as special promotions, account updates and reward notifications. We collect your birth date in order to acknowledge you with a birthday gift. And we need your favorite theatre so that we can keep you in the loop on the latest offers and events. HOW DO I START EARNING REWARDS AS AN CINEPOLIS REWARDS MEMBER?
Once you have filled out the required portions of you profile, your account is considered active and you are eligible to start earning rewards. You are required to provide your name, birthdate, favorite theater, email address, and phone number. To earn points, you must present your account number or your phone number at the time of purchase. It’s as simple as that!
DO I NEED TO PRESENT MY CINEPOLIS REWARDS ACCOUNT NUMBER TO GET REWARDS?
Any time you want to take advantage of the benefits offered by the Cinepolis Rewards program, you may either provide phone number to a Cinepolis crew member during an in-theater transaction or log in on the website or app before buying tickets.
WHAT IF MY REWARDS BALANCE DOESN’T LOOK RIGHT? WHO DO I CONTACT?
If you have any questions or need more information about your account, first log into your account on the Cinepolis USA website and check the transaction details on the History tab of your account page. If your question is not answered, visit our Contact page to get in touch with us. Please also note that while earning potential is unlimited, there is a maximum holding amount of 20,000 points. If this maximum is reached, points will not accrue until points are redeemed.
WHAT IF I FORGET TO LOG IN OR PROVIDE MY ACCOUNT INFORMATION WHEN I MAKE A PURCHASE? CAN I STILL GET CREDIT FOR MY PURCHASE?
No. At this time we will not be honoring points after transactions are made. We are sorry for the inconvenience but, your account is associated with your phone number. So, please remember to give it to our crew members or log in.
HOW DO I KEEP TRACK OF MY POINTS AND REWARDS?
You can see your point balance and all the rewards you have already earned by logging into your account on the Cinepolis USA website or mobile app. Sign in and check back whenever you would like to see your recent account activity and collected rewards.
HOW DO I EARN POINTS?
For every $1 you spend on food and beverages, excluding alcohol, you will earn 10 points at most Cinépolis branded locations. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer points on food and beverage at our Moviehouse & Eatery branded locations or Cinépolis The Woodlands at this time. For every ticket purchased online or through our app you will earn 200 points. This is benefit is available at ALL locations! There is a limit of 6 tickets per transaction for online purchases and only 1 ticket transaction per day will be eligible for earning points. Members cannot earn points on booking fees, taxes, tips, gift card purchases, and group events.
Earn points right away for all applicable food and beverage purchases at participating locations. Points for all ticket purchases (online and mobile app) will be added to your account immediately as well. In the case of a refund all earned points will be deducted from the member’s account.
WHAT BENEFITS CAN I USE MY POINTS FOR AS A CINÉPOLIS REWARDS MEMBER?
Cinépolis Rewards members who have reached 2,500 points will automatically earn a FREE ticket! Points will be automatically deducted from your account, and your FREE ticket will be added. Your FREE ticket will expire 6 months from the date earned and is valid for any standard format show. Special formats (3D, Junior, IMAX, 4DX, ScreenX) not applicable. To redeem rewards, sign in on the Cinépolis USA website or mobile app and select your “complimantaRy ticket” while on the ticket selection page to apply your FREE ticket.
WILL MY POINTS EXPIRE?
Points never expire as long as you are an active Cinepolis Rewards member. Points for Cinepolis Rewards members will expire after 12 months of inactivity.
WHAT ABOUT MY BIRTHDAY GIFT, SIGN-UP REWARD OR ANY OTHER OFFER THAT IS SENT TO ME VIA EMAIL OR TEXT?
Any offer for food and/or beverages sent via email or text, or loaded onto a member account, can be redeemed at any Cinépolis USA location.

If you forgot your password or would like to change it, just click the “Forgot Password” link at the bottom left of the Log In screen. You can also update your password by clicking “Edit” on the Profile tab of your Rewards account page.
HOW WILL I FIND OUT ABOUT SPECIAL CINEPOLIS REWARDS MEMBER OFFERS?
Stay in the loop with our emails and/or text messages. We’ll periodically send you relevant member information such as newsletters, special promotions, reward notifications and account updates.
DO I GET A MEMBERSHIP CARD?
Cinepolis Rewards members will not have a card. You can access your virtual card with ease on the Cinepolis USA website or mobile app. Don’t worry – if you’re at the theater and you don’t have your member number, the crew can look you up by phone number or email address.
HOW LONG IS MY MEMBERSHIP VALID?
Your Cinepolis Rewards membership is unlimited, so it’s valid as long as your account stays active. After two years (24 consecutive months) of non-use, your account will be considered inactive and we may cancel the account.
HOW DO I CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP?
You may cancel your membership by presenting your member account number at the box office or the guest services information desk at any Cinepolis USA location in the U.S. or by making a request through the Contact Us form on the Cinepolis USA website.
HOW DOES CINEPOLIS PROTECT MY PRIVACY AFTER I REGISTER AS A CINEPOLIS REWARDS MEMBER?

If you would like to update your personal profile information such as your mailing address, phone number or email address, log in to your account on the Cinepolis USA website, click “Edit” on the Profile tab and save your changes there. Contact information and profile preferences cannot be changed on the Cinepolis app.
WHERE DO I FIND MY ACCOUNT NUMBER?
Remember you can always give your phone number and/or email address to the theater staff to earn points on eligible purchases and use your rewards in the theater. In the event you would like to find your account number it is located on your Member page on the Cinepolis USA app, or at the bottom of your receipt for in-theater food and beverage purchases.

ENROLLING IN CINÉPOLIS REWARDS
There are two (2) ways to enroll in Cinépolis Rewards and begin accumulating Points:
- Visit www.Cinépolis.com/rewards. Follow the prompts to create an account and register your membership.
- Download the mobile Cinépolis USA App to your Android™ or iPhone® device. Follow the prompts to create an account and register your membership.
The enrollment process in Cinepolis Rewards program may require that you provide the following information: username, password, email address (required to receive all eligible Points), name, physical address, telephone number, birthday, and marketing preferences.
If you change the physical address associated with your membership to one that is not located within the U.S., your Cinepolis Rewards account will be inactivated. You will no longer be able to earn Points or receive or redeem benefits under your Cinépolis Rewards account. Previously earned Points may expire as described below.
EARNING AND REDEEMING POINTS
The benefits are available to you through Cinépolis Rewards are based on the number of “Points” you earn. You can earn Points by making purchases at Cinépolis locations and http://www.cinepolisusa.com/ and associating your Cinepolis Rewards membership with such purchases.
Categories: Points are earned on your registered Cinepolis Rewards membership is as follows:
- Food & Beverage – Ten (10) Points for each One Dollar ($1.00) – NOTE EXCLUDES ALCOHOL. Available at most Cinépolis branded locations. Not available at Moviehouse & Eatery branded locations or Cinépolis The Woodlands.
- Admission Tickets – Two-Hundred (200) Points for each ticket purchase on CinépolisUSA.com or on the mobile Cinépolis USA App. Limit one transaction per day, up to 6 tickets per transaction.
- Points: Once a Rewards Member accumulates 2,500 Points, a FREE “complementaRy ticket) will be applied to their Cinépolis Rewards account. Rewards Members can accumulate unlimited “complementaRy tickets,” each corresponding to 2,500 Points earned. Upon reaching 2,500 points, 2,500 points will be automatically deducted from the member’s account and a FREE “compelmentaRy ticket” will be added. FREE “complementaRy ticket” valid for 6 months from the date earned and can be used on any standard format show. Special formats (3D, Junior, IMAX, 4DX, ScreenX) not applicable.
Exclusions: Points cannot be earned, and rewards cannot be used, on the following:
- Purchase of alcoholic beverages
- Purchase of Cinépolis Gift Cards (including activations, reloads, transfers, or any other card-to-card transaction).
- Taxes, tips, donations, and fees may also be excluded.
- Group sales, events or platinum access ticket sales.
Cinépolis Rewards members begin to apply their Points towards FREE “complementaRy tickets” once they have earned two-thousand five-hundred (2,500) Points. Points are redeemable only in 2,500 increments for one (1) FREE “complementaRy ticket” per increment, subject to exclusions listed above.
Rewards members must present themselves as a Rewards Member in the cinema or while transacting online to earn Points. Rewards members will earn Points if the Cinepolis Point of Sale system is offline, however, they will not be able redeem points at that time. Reward Points are redeemed on a first in / first out basis. Reward Points expire if a Reward member becomes inactive (i.e., no transactions for 12 months).
Rewards Points may not be earned/awarded in fractional amounts regardless of the value of your purchase (fractional amounts are rounded down). Generally, Rewards Points for qualifying purchases from participating theaters, CinepolisUSA.com and the Cinépolis USA App are automatically added to your Rewards Account within twenty-four (24) hours. From time to time, we, or others acting with our permission, may offer you special promotions that offer you “Promotional Points.” Promotional Points, such as “bonus” Points, will be awarded as described in the applicable promotional offer and will be subject to any additional terms set forth in the promotional offer.
You can view and track your Point balance and available Points at CinepolisUSA.com or by using the mobile Cinépolis USA App. Cinépolis reserves the right to change the number of benefit levels and to change the benefits, points and Rewards associated with each level in its sole discretion at any time.
There are no membership fees associated with Cinépolis Rewards. Points accumulated under the program are promotional and have no cash value.
Points earned under your Cinépolis Rewards membership are personal to you and may not be sold, transferred or assigned to, or shared with, family, friends or others, or used for any commercial purpose. You may have only one (1) Cinépolis Rewards account that is personal to you.
Without notice to you, Cinépolis also reserves the right to “unregister” and make ineligible for the Cinépolis Rewards program any Cinépolis Rewards account that has not earned points in the prior twelve (12) months. If your Cinépolis Reward account is unregistered or rendered inactive, then all accumulated Points in your account will be immediately forfeited.
Cinépolis reserves the right to terminate, discontinue or cancel the Cinépolis Rewards program at any time and in its sole discretion without notice to you.

You agree to observe and abide by all copyright and other proprietary notices, legends or other restrictions contained in any such content and will not make any changes thereto.
You will not modify, publish, transmit, reverse engineer, participate in the transfer or sale, create derivative works, or in any way exploit any of the content, in whole or in part, found on the Site. Moviehouse content is not for resale. Your use of the Site does not entitle you to make any unauthorized use of any protected content, and in particular you will not delete or alter any proprietary rights or attribution notices in any content. You agree that you do not acquire any ownership rights in any protected content. Third Party Accounts
You will be able to connect your Moviehouse account to third party accounts. By connecting your Moviehouse account to your third party account, you acknowledge and agree that you are consenting to the continuous release of information about you to others (in accordance with your privacy settings on those third party sites). If you do not want information about you to be shared in this manner, do not use this feature.
The Service is controlled, operated and administered by Moviehouse from our offices within the USA. If you access the Service from a location outside the USA, you are responsible for compliance with all local laws. You agree that you will not use the Moviehouse Content accessed through www.themoviehouse.com in any country or in any manner prohibited by any applicable laws, restrictions or regulations.
You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Moviehouse, its officers, directors, employees, agents and third parties, for any losses, costs, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) relating to or arising out of your use of or inability to use the Site or services, any user postings made by you, your violation of any terms of this Agreement or your violation of any rights of a third party, or your violation of any applicable laws, rules or regulations. Moviehouse reserves the right, at its own cost, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you will fully cooperate with Moviehouse in asserting any available defenses.
