The Girl in the Spider’s Web

Lisbeth Salander returns along with journalist Mikael Blomkvist to find themselves caught in a web of cyber criminals, spies, and corrupt government officials. This chapter of the story leads us back to the source of what made the now infamous computer hacker into the women that she became. A figure from her past, now mired in human trafficking and criminal activity of the dark web, returns to remind Lisbeth who she is, and who she was.

Based on the posthumously published, best-selling novels of Stieg Larsson, this is the first volume of the Millennium Series not written by the original author, but instead taken up by another Swedish author, David Lagercrantz. This volume also replaces the lead actress with Claire Foy (The Queen, First Man) as Lisbeth Salander. Director Fede Alvarez (Don’t Breathe), leads the American adaptation of the story into the future by visiting the past.
