Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald

In this second installment of the Fantastic Beasts saga by Harry Potter author, J.K. Rowling, magizoologist Newt Scamander is enlisted by Albus Dumbledore to thwart the plans of recently escaped dark wizard, Gellert Grindelwald. As Grindelwald’s true goals are revealed, lines are drawn and loyalties are tested even among family and the closest friends. It is a rift that will divide the magical world for far longer than they can imagine.

Eddie Redmayne reprises his role as Scamander, and true Potterverse fans meet some of their favorites at a much younger age, including Jude Law as Dumbledore, Claudia Kim as Nagini, Zoe Kravitz as Leta Lestrange, Fiona Glascott as McGonagall, and Johnny Depp as Grindelwald. Director of four Harry Potter films, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and announced director of three more Fantastic Beast universe films, David Yeats, takes the lead on this film and allows for a clear continuity of the magical world. The fate of one will change the fate of all.
