Jojo Rabbit

In this World War II satire, a lonely German boy named Jojo has his world turned upside down when he discovers that his mother has been hiding a young Jewish girl. Alongside his imaginary friend, who happens to be a somewhat idiotic version of Adolf Hitler, Jojo must confront his blind nationalism.

Directed by and starring Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok), this satirical comedy won the People’s Choice Award at the Toronto film festival.
