Late Night

A pioneering and legendary late night host fears she will soon lose her position. When she is accused of discriminating against other women, she makes affirmative action a priority and hires new writer, Molly. Molly is determined to prove herself by revitalizing her boss’s career in the face of low ratings and network pressures.

Emma Thompson and Mindy Kaling star in this comedy about comedy that celebrates funny women in a scene dominated by men. Director Nisha Ganatra, best known for directing episodes of some of TV’s best comedy including The Mindy Project, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Future Man, and Fresh Off the Boat, leads the cast in giving comedy a rewrite.
